EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 24

Series of 2010

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Alegria, Surigao del Norte will now operate its Water System Level III in ten (10) covered barangays, namely: Barangays Pongtud, San Juan Alipao, San Pedro, Anahaw, Poblacion, Gamuton, Julio Ouano, Ombong and Budlingin;

WHEREAS, it is eminent on the part of the LGU to formulate policies and guidelines in the operation and maintenance of the said economic enterprise facility to be implemented by MEEDO;

NOW THEREFORE: I, DOMINADOR G. ESMA, JR., Municipal Mayor of Alegria, Surigao del Norte by virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the provisions of R.A. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and other related laws of the government, do hereby order the creation of Alegria Municipal Water Board composed of Department Heads and Legislative Members of the municipality that will serve as the recommending and policy making body to the Local Chief Executive and, as well as, in charge in planning, institutional, financial and technical aspect of the enterprise facility. Members of the Board shall elect among themselves that will act as the Chairman.

The Alegria Municipal Water Board is composed of the following members:

1. Municipal Engineer

2. Municipal Health Officer

3. MENRO

4. MSWDO

5. MPDC

6. Mun. Treasurer

7. Mun. Accountant

8. Mun. Budget Officer

9. HRMO

10. SB Chair on Finance

11. SB Chair on Infrastructure

This order shall take effect immediately.

First meeting of Alegria Municipal Water Board was done last August 17, 2010 at the Legislative Hall where they made the policies and guidelines in the operation and maintenance of Alegria Water Supply System Level III to be implemented by the Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office.

This facility is expected to start its normal operation this coming October, 2010 with initial target of 650 households to be serviced with water system level III connections. As agreed by the Board, every 3^rd monday of the month is the monthly board meeting of Alegria Municipal Water Board.

Elected Chairman of the Board is MPDC Edipolo A. Mosquito, Jr. while MSWDO Arlyn P. Gabeligno is the Board Secretary.
