FIVE PROGRAMS WERE LAUNCHED IN THE MUNICIPALITY

Five big programs here in our municipality were launched last April 4, 2011. The clean program of our municipality” KALIMPYO UG KAHAPSAY SA SURIGAO – ALEGRIAand the program against schistosomiasis titled “AKSYON BATOK SISTO (ABS) PROGRAM which was spearheaded by the Rural Health Unit of our municipality headed by our Municipal Health Officer Dr. Edgardo Navaro Samson III. In line with this program, all employees and in the LGU took part in beautifying the surroundings of the municipal hall. The launching of the sisto program marks the start of the mass treatment for all Alegriahanons against schistosommiasis.

Together with the programs of our RHU, the groundbreaking of the SPECIAL CHILD LEARNING CENTER AND SENIOR CITIZEN BUILDING took place. This was spearheaded by the Municipal Social Worker and Development Office headed by Ms. Arlyn Pasia- Gabeligno.

The launching of the ALEGRIA WATER LEVEL SUPPLY SYSTEM LEVEL III AND THE ALEGRIA INTEGRATED TRANSPORT TERMINAL which are both spearheaded by the Municipal Planning Development Office headed by our Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Mr. Edipolo A. Mosquito Jr. also took place.

1.         The Government of the Philippines (GOP) has received a Loanfrom the World Bank toward the cost of Mindanao Rural Development Program II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to payments under the contract for Rehabilitation of San Juan-Danao FMR, Identification No. 05-ALE-SDN-11

2.         The Municipality of Alegria, implementing partner of the Department of Agriculture, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Rehabilitation of San Juan-Danao  FMR.[1] Completion of the Works is required by 60 calendar days.

3.         Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act.  Subject to exceptions stated in this Bidding Documents, all Bids will be opened. The Bidder with the Lowest Calculated Bid (LCB) shall advance to the post-qualification stage in order to finally determine its responsiveness to the technical and financial requirements of the project. The contract shall then be awarded to the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) who was determined as such during post-qualification.  The Estimated Project Cost for this project is           Php1, 757, 000.00. One Million Seven Hundred Fifty Seven Thousand Pesos.

4.         The documents required in the Eligibility Documents shall be submitted as part of the Technical Documents of the Bidders as provided in the Instructions to Bidders.

5.         Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays.

6.         A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of   Php 2,000.00 .  The Bidding Documents shall be received personally by the bidder or his authorized representative on or before February 24, 2011 4:00 P.M..

7.         The Municipality of Alegria will hold a Pre-Bid Conference open to all Eligible Bidders on 9:00 A.M., February 11, 2011. at the following address Alegria Municipal  Development Center, Alegria, Surigao del Norte.

8.        Eligible Bidders must submit their Bids at the address below on or before 9:00 A.M, February 25, 2011.  All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security in the form of cash, certified (manager’s or cashier’s) check, bank guaranteeand in an amount specified in the bid documents.Late Bids shall not be accepted.  Bid opening shall be on 9:00 A.M, February 25, 2011. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 9:00 A.M, February 25, 2011.

9.       The Municipality of Alegria reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.

WHEREAS, the Annual Investment Plan and Budget of the 20% Municipal Development Fund from the 2011 Annual Budget of LGU Alegria, Surigao del Norte is hereby allocated for the plans, programs and activities in the development of communities;

 

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Alegria has appropriated the amount of SIX MILLION TWO HUNDRED NINETY ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY SIX PESOS (Php 6,291,526.00) of the 20% Municipal Development Fund;

 

WHEREAS, after thorough deliberation, review and evaluation of the MDC members of the plans, programs and activities in the Annual Investment Plan for CY 2011;

 

WHEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to approve the Annual Investment Plan (AIP) and its yearly Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB) of the 20% Municipal Development Fund for calendar year 2011 in the following detailed items, as follows:
