TRAINING ON LEARNING PACKAGE ON PARENT EDUCATION ON ADOLESCENT HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT
The office of the Municipal Population of Alegria, through the all-out support of the local chief executive, Hon. Dominador G. Esma, Jr., conducted a pilot training on Learning Package on Adolescent Health and Development (LPPEAHD) held last August 4, 2010 at the Municipal Development Center, Alegria, Surigao del Norte which was participated in/attended by fifteen (15) couples of whom were the chosen few from among the students’ parents of Alegria National High School. Municipal Water Board created
Mayor Dominador G. Esma Jr. created the Alegria Municipal Water Board through an Executive Order No. 24 series of 2010 dated 10th day of August 2010.
First meeting of Alegria Municipal Water Board was done last August 17, 2010 at the Legislative Hall where they made the policies and guidelines in the operation and maintenance of Alegria Water Supply System Level III to be implemented by the Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office. Act for Peace provide training to Barangay Camp Eduard
The Camp Eduard Integrated Farmers Association (CEIFA), a duly registered organization of the Department of Labor and Employment is a recipient of a livelihood project from Act for Peace Program with funding support by the governments of New Zealand, Australia and Spain (NZAID) in partnership of Propegemus Foundation, Inc. (PFI), an NGO, in the amount of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P200,000.00) including capability skills trainings and a minimal amount of Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000.00) as LGU Equity of the project. MDG and MBUSSP Project Implementing Teams conduct Coordination meeting updates
On July 14, 2010 the Project Implementing Unit of MDG-Water System Level 3 Subproject and MBUSSP-Alegria Integrated Terminal Subproject conducted its coordination meeting to appraise the status of these two projects and the degree of its accomplishments as determined by the PIU Members. continue

Alegria Speed up implementation of MRDP-2 funded Projects
Mayor Dominador G. Esma, Jr. organized the composition of the MRDP-Municipal Program Management and Implementing Unit (MRDP-MPMIU); Multi-Sectoral Committee (MSC); creation of the Municipal Research and Extension Team (MRET); Municipal Revenue Generation and Management Committee (MRGMC) and creation of the Mindanao Rural Development Program Municipal Planning Team (MRDP-MPT) through executive orders effective July 1, 2010. These teams will be responsible in the implementation of four MRDP components: Rural Infrastructure (RI), Community Fund for Agricultural Development (CFAD), Natural Resources Management (NRM) and Investment for Governance Reforms and Program Administration (IGRPA). AECID of Spanish Gov’t. Extended Convenio Program To Two Brgys. in Alegria
The Agencia Española de Cooperacion International para el Desarollo (AECID) in partnership with “ Intercambio y Solidaridad” (InteRed- a Spanish NGO) has provided financial and technical assistance to REACH Foundation, Inc. as the local partner NGO for the implementation of an integrated development intervention referred as Convenio “ Integral and sustainable development of rural communities in Bicol and Caraga, with special focus on women, promoting the articulation and strengthening of the productive and social structures, through community participation. Philippines” (07-co-1-031).
