LGU Alegria Pays Tribute to the Longest Educator
By virtue of SB Resolution No. 01, series of 2010 sponsored by Hon. SB Suzeth Zamora Dagcuta, Chairperson of Committee on Education and Tourism as approved unanimously by the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Alegria on January 4, 2010 requested the Hon. Mayor Dominador G. Esma, Jr. to pay tribute to the longest living educator in the municipality in the person of Mrs. Martha Ortega Adlawan during her 91st birthday on January 19, 2010. (continue)

ESMA Program Recepient of Shredding Machine & Compost Tea Brewer
The Ecological Sustainability and Management of Alegria Program (ESMA Program) of LGU Alegria, Surigao del Norte through Hon. Mayor Dominador G. Esma, Jr. received last January 14, 2010 one (1) unit of shredding machine with complete accessories and two (2) sets of compost tea brewer amounted to Php375, 000.00 from Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Unit 13 under the Community Based Composting Facility Project of the said national agency. OWWA Confer the 2009 Model OFW Family 2009
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Welfare Office Caraga, Butuan City had chosen Engr. Mansueto and SB Member Nimfa Sagaral of Barangay Anahaw, Alegria, Surigao del Norte, among other participants in Caraga Region, to receive the award as 2009 Model OFW Family of the Year under sea based category.
