On July 14, 2010 the Project Implementing Unit of MDG-Water System Level 3 Subproject and MBUSSP-Alegria Integrated Terminal Subproject conducted its coordination meeting to appraise the status of these two projects and the degree of its accomplishments as determined by the PIU Members.
The meeting was presided over by MPDC Edipolo A. Mosquito, Jr., the designated PIU Manager of MDG and MBUSSP Projects to the members of the team and announced the extent of physical accomplishments vs. financial disbursements of the said projects. As of June 30, 2010, the MBUSSP-Alegria Integrated Terminal Subproject has already a physical accomplishment of 37.02% with a disbursement of 3.7 million to the contractor, JMT Construction based in Surigao City. The project started last March 12, 2010 with a contract completion period of 300 calendar days costing P 12,395,547.79
While in the MDG-Alegria Water Supply System Level III Subproject as of June 30, 2010, it has a physical accomplishment of 40% with a disbursement of 3.9 million to the contractor, Two Aces Construction and Supply based in Butuan City. The project started last January 29, 2010 and is expected to be completed on October 18, 2010 with a project cost of P 13,245,889.30.
These two projects is funded through the Department of Finance-Municipal Development Fund Office with technical assistance from the Department of Interior and Local Government.
In the said meeting, we invited the presence of the contractors and deliberated issues and concerns relative to the project implementation. This is to resolve any issues that may affect the target completion date of the projects as stipulated in the contract between the contractors concerned and LGU Alegria
